Made with 100% Yamadanishiki Rice from Fujikawa-cho, Yamanashi
Brewed in our hometown of Fujikawa in Yamanashi with 100% Yamadanishiki rice grown specifically for brewing sake, Migaki 40 233 is a luxury Junmai Daiginjo sake, the most superior quality in the sake world.
With its beautiful aroma of Ginjo sake, a smoothness that will go down easily, and an elegant, classy flavor, you won’t be able to get enough.
Expert brewers born and raised on this land have poured everything into brewing this sake, which they made with water and local rice only found in the naturally formed landscapes of this area. We’ve crowned it “Junmai Daiginjo Migaki 40 233”.
In September 2022, one of our rice growers, who also has great experience in brewing, fell ill and could not participate in the brewing process. That was how the preparations for our 233rd year of brewing began.
We brewed Migaki 40 233 together with growers using Yamadanishiki rice locally grown in Fujikawa specifically for sake. Made purely with rice and water, we intended for it to be even better than our Shunnoten Daiginjo Kamosaru Kura sake.
It was our way to challenge ourselves to produce a new, world-renowned rice wine using everything we’ve learned over our 233-year history.
“For special occasions.”
“To send to a loved one.”
“A memorable sake for memorable moments.”
These are the sentiments that gave birth to the Migaki 40 233.
We hope that it will help you snuggle up to the important things in your life.
